Outney Meadow Caravan Park has facilities for tents and motorhomes and is also ideal for fishing holidays. The park is surrounded by the River Waveney. You can hire a canoe from us or if you have your own you are welcome to launch if you are camping onsite.
Checking in and out
You can arrive from 11am on the day of your booking, please do not arrive before this to ensure your pitch is free. Check-out time is 10.30 on the day of your departure.
Onsite facilities
Our tent pitches can accommodate units 4 metres wide x 6 metres deep. If your tent is larger than this please call to make arrangements. The toilet and shower block has hot showers, shaver points and a hairdryer, and coin-operated laundry. We can also offer a secure storage area within the grounds of the park where you can leave your caravan or trailer tent until your next visit.
Bank Holidays
We charge a Bank Holiday supplement and are often busier during these times so please book in good time to avoid disappointment.
Nearby facilities
Bungay offers a good selection of shops including a delicatessen, local butcher and fruit and vegetable shop and a supermarket. The local pubs are within walking distance, The Green Dragon and The Fleece offer good pub food. There are also others to choose from, please phone the office for more details. In the summer we offer a selection of local ice creams available for purchase.
Tips for camping
Don't forget your tent pegs! Bring plenty of warm clothes for the cooler evenings.
